AI is making attacks
easier to scale.
Teams of AI agents can automate parts of a cyberattack, reducing the time and effort involved. Widely available open-source models also lower the barrier to building attack tools. More businesses can be probed for exploitable weaknesses with fewer resources.

What could an attacker do?
A serious flaw can expose more than data. The impact depends on the access it allows.
- Take control
- Gain administrator access, impersonate users or lock them out.
- Steal or destroy records
- Read private files, alter important information or delete it without permission.
- Bypass payment
- Use paid features for free, or exploit credits and discounts.
- Disrupt operations
- Overwhelm the application or trigger unexpected paid-service charges.
